One great love—may the mountain fall. } Sigvard The Nameless was the most epic of all the books in the Dokiri Brides series and I absolutely loved every page about the youngest of the Dokiri brothers. After his carelessness causes disaster in his family Sigvard swears to himself that he doesn’t deserve anything or anyone but that all changes when he does what his people do best ( besides riding wyverns and fighting deadly monsters of course. ) and steals a bride from the order of mages to help him save his people. Adira, Sigvards stolen bride - was such an amazing character and went through so much with her past and throughout the book to grow into the strong woman the clans of Bedmeg needed. She was without a doubt the perfect match for Sigvard. I stayed up until nearly 2am reading this stunningly gorgeous book and have absolutely no regrets - Denali Day has more than earned her spot as what I’m calling the High Queens of Fantasy Romance. The world and creatures created and brought to life in this series are just fantastic and the writing refuses to release you until you’ve read the final pages. After every Dokiri Brides book I say ‘’this brother is definitively my favorite of them all.” But after reading this book I’m absolutely positive that Sigvard The Nameless is my favorite of the Na Dokiri. First of all, I want to thank Denali for the ARC. This author is a true marvel. Her ability to make another world come alive is a thing of beauty. This book, like the ones before is about a captive bride. Sigvard goes to collect a magess for her ability, not realizing this magess is going to rock his world and his foundation in more than one life changing way. They both have their own private demons, and fears and insecurities. Its so deliciously full of angst. The emotions are high in this one, and to be perfectly honest I cried a couple of times for the growing pains these two will go through to become the best versions of themselves. Its hard to describe the book and not give away too much. You can read the book on its own, but you would be missing out if you do not read the entire series as it does build the story with each book. There is no cheating , no cliff hanger and our lovely couple get a HEA! Do yourself a favor and read about the magestic magess who becomes a Dothriki bride to our most emotionally torn Warrior. You wont regret it!
